I love tag clouds and use them in my high school classroom all of the time.

I’d love to find a way to have students text in words and have them appear in a tag cloud in real time. Still looking for that functionality. I’ve got kids texting in using http://www.wiffiti.com.

I used Wordle in my professional development course for freshmen this semester to look at their before and after versions of their resumes. It’s very easy to see what needs to be changed in your resume when you see “high school” and “AP” as the largest words on the Wordle in the before version. Students really seemed to enjoy the process.
