Natalie Houston

Natalie Houston is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Houston, where she teaches courses in Victorian literature, literary theory, bibliography and research methods, women writers, and gay/lesbian literature.

Her current research areas include Victorian poetry, the history of print culture, and editorial theory and practice.  She is currently completing a book about Augusta Webster’s feminist poetics; working on a digital edition of Webster’s poetry; and researching a future project on nineteenth-century print culture.

A longtime student of mind/body integration and personal self-improvement, she reads and very occasionally shares on Twitter (@nmhouston).
